About Me

I love telling stories.

A good story (in terms of marketing and communications) should accomplish three outcomes:

  • Help the reader connect with the person, place or thing (brand) in question.
  • Evoke emotion.
  • Inspire action.

Another important aspect of storytelling is knowing the right amount of information to include—and when to include it. This understanding of the reader’s experience is highly underrated, and it requires a lot of observation and intuition.

I also consider myself to be an exceptional editor and proofreader. I have an eagle eye for detail, and I can’t help but look for typos, inconsistencies, and overly complicated sentence structures in everything I read.

I try to make the world just a little better through my work—and I prefer to work with companies and organizations that aim to do the same.
